The 40 entrants signed up to take part in the Blessing of the Fleet will begin dance rehearsals this Sunday at the Ulladulla Civic Centre.

Rehearsals will be held each Sunday from February 10 through until March 10 with a final rehearsal on Wednesday, March 13 before the March 16 ball.

Entrant interviews for the judging will be held at the Mollymook Golf Club on Saturday, March 9.

The girls are asked to wear their school uniforms and no makeup for the interview and will be advised on what to expect at ball rehearsals.

Entrants and their partners will be photographed before the ball on Saturday afternoon at the Dunn Lewis Centre.

Along with starting to learn their dance steps for the ball, princesses are also being asked to finalise plans for their floats with a full description required by February 24, along with the names of the two float marshals.

For the parade, the entrants must also provide copies of the vehicle registration and green slip insurance for the vehicle being used in their float.

The Blessing of the Fleet street parade will be held on Sunday, March 31.
